Outdoor pool season returns to full capacity May 29 in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN – Summer vacations, warm weather and pool season are just around the corner.

Clarksville Parks & Recreation will reopen all public pools and wading pools on May 29, 2021. Each pool will return to full capacity, but with new hours of operation to ensure proper staffing and security. Admission to the pool is $ 3 for each time slot.

  • The hours of operation for the New Providence pool will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
  • The opening hours of the Lac des Cygnes swimming pool will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
  • The Bel-Aire and Beachaven swimming pools will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The city also operates four no-entry wading pools which are open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Swimming lessons will be given in the city’s four swimming pools. Cost is $ 40 per session and available for pre-registration at ClarksvilleParksRec.com. Classes are based on skill level and age, and each pool has classes from 9am to 9.45am and 7.15pm to 8pm.

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday June 7-23 at New Providence and Swan Lake Pools.
  • Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday June 8-24 at Bel-Aire and Beachaven pools.

In addition to the schedule changes, the fitness program will move to the Bel-Aire swimming pool. Lap swimming will be available exclusively at the New Providence Pool.

Summer and year round pool memberships are also available and can be purchased at pools or online at ClarksvilleParksRec.com. Concessions are available for purchase on site at each pool. Food or drink outside is prohibited.

Lifeguard positions available
