Landbank expands prepaid card services for CCT, UCT

About 10 million beneficiaries under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) and Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) programs as of 31 May 2022 can now access a wider range of banking services, through their enhanced prepaid cards from the Landbank of the Philippines (Landbank).

Beneficiaries’ existing Landbank prepaid cards were automatically transformed into transaction accounts with extended functionality to provide more convenient banking services.

“We are continually improving our products and services to meet the growing needs of our diverse customer base. This includes our provision of government grants, aimed at providing vulnerable sectors with greater access to formal financial services,” said Landbank President and CEO Cecilia C. Borromeo.

Landbank CCT-UCT prepaid cards now allow receiving funds from Landbank accounts through fund transfers via LANDBANK Mobile Banking (MBA) App, iAccess, Landbank Remittance System (LBRS) for remittances abroad, automatic teller machines (ATMs) and other banks. accounts via InstaPay and ATM funds transfers.

Beneficiaries can also now load their Landbank CCT-UCT prepaid cards through 231 Landbank Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs) and over-the-counter at select Landbank branches nationwide, starting May 31, 2022, enabling them to secure and save funds through their own transaction accounts. .
