‘House’ cafe bar and spa set to open in Pembroke

A NEW boutique opening soon in Pembroke will offer self-catering accommodation, artisan coffees and locally produced ice cream.

House Cafe and Bar moves into the former Co-op supermarket in downtown Pembroke.

Described as ‘something a little different’, House will offer a versatile offering, including self-catering holiday accommodation, fresh artisan coffee and locally produced ice cream during the summer months.

The property will also include an on-site spa featuring a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and frozen plunge pool.

There will also be a roof terrace with panoramic views of the Millpond.

The owners described the cafe and bar experience as a fully stocked cafe with artisan coffee and sandwiches, fresh daily.

The shop will offer coffee, fresh sandwiches, accommodation and a spa experience

They went on to say that when the opportunity to move to Pembroke presented itself, they seized the opportunity.

“It was an easy decision for us,” the owners said. “We saw that this bustling, tourist-frequented city was crying out for something a little different.

“Pembroke has so much to offer visitors with the castle just a stone’s throw away.

“We look forward to launching and injecting vitality into the high street and providing the local community with more options for dining and relaxing with friends and family.”

The House Cafe and Bar will open on June 28.

The cafe will open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and the ice cream parlor from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily during the summer months.
